The room was attractively furnished, perfectly clean and complete with air con and comfy beds, for instance. There were an electric kettle and coffee/tea makers. The hotel was in a great location close enough to a leisure and comfortable restaurant, the Beth Chatto gardens and the outskirts of Wivenhoe. Also, Limon Town Hall was 2 miles away from the venue...

We had a fantastic stay at this lovely hotel. The room was clean, tidy, and beautifully furnished. The en-suite bathroom was modern and had all the necessary amenities. One thing that really stood out was the smart TV in the room, a great added bonus. We also enjoyed a delicious meal in the restaurant, with a menu that had a variety of options to choose from. The location of the hotel was perfect for us, as it was conveniently close to the University and the Beth Chatto gardens. The recently renovated hotel gave off a fresh and brand new vibe, and the staff were all friendly and helpful. The buffet-style continental breakfast was excellent, with a wide selection of high-quality items to choose from. I highly recommend this hotel for its comfort, cleanliness, great food, and convenient location.

The location was convenient, right next to a bus stop, and the staff were friendly and cute.
The morning meal could be improved by providing clearer descriptions of ingredients, especially for those with dietary restrictions.

Exceedingly well appointed with high-quality fixtures and fittings. Very clean rooms and friendly and efficient staff. the location was very convenient for those visiting the University of Essex. the staff went above and beyond, even offering a ride to the uni when we were running late.
One minor downside was the lack of hanger space in room 4. we had trouble getting Netflix to load on the TV, however, the staff were helpful in trying to resolve the issue.
